North Sea Jazz Festival
10th-12th July, 2026
Rotterdam, Netherlands

At the centre of this presentation is the concept of vibration. In jazz, vibration is both literal and metaphorical: the trembling of a bass string, the breath through brass, the resonance of a drum skin, and the emotional charge carried through performance. We seek artists whose practices register this energy visually through colour intensity, gestural mark-making, layered surfaces, repetition, distortion, and spatial dynamism. The exhibition prioritises work that feels alive: compositions that pulse, shift, and reverberate rather than remain static.
Rising Star Lab
Artention Africa in collaboration with Accra Art Week succesfully held a Masterclass dubbed, The Business of Art. The workshop took participants through presentations on the various disciplines to building a sustainable artistic practice. Faciltators include; Nuna Adesinu-Doe, Nana Ama O. Dei, George Adjebeng and Nii Glover.
